The old Geezers marveled at their good fortune, if they didn't want to die just take the hand of the tall thin man, and keep living another life, like the Hindus said keep living lives over and over again, but this wasn't reincarnation this was something else, perhaps an answer to their prayers, or the downfall of humanity, but who could say no to a gift from heaven, the fulfillment of the oldest wish known to man, and like Death said to the dying man. “Be careful what you wish for.”
